Insulation in the attic is a necessity, and over 90% of homes in North America are underinsulated. Adding insulation in the attic can reduce your energy consumption by up to 20 percent and make your home more comfortable and healthy.
Aeroseal is a patented and proven technology that seals your entire duct system from the inside resulting in lower energy bills, improved home comfort, and better indoor air quality.
Many homes have old, infested, unhealthy and ineffective insulation. Removing old insulation allows for a healthier home and for us to isolate your living space from your attic by sealing the attic floor.
As much as we love sealing ducts, some are just unrepairable. Replacing unrepairable ducts will make a huge difference in your energy bills, comfort and indoor air quality.
Attics are supposed to breathe. Improving your attic’s ventilation by adding more passive ventilation or attic fans will improve the temperature and humidity of the attic and potentially saving thousands in unexpected roof repairs and energy bills.
Healthy homes are very important to us. The AirScrubber by Aerus® attaches directly to the ductwork to reduce viruses, bacteria, and other contaminants in the air and on surfaces.
High power rates are a hot topic in today’s world. It almost feels like every year the power companies are increasing their rates like never before. It ends up where you get stuck with a higher bill for the same amount of power you’ve always used.
Unfortunately, your HVAC unit is the bigger culprit for your high power bills. In fact, your HVAC system can be accounting for up to 60% of your total power consumption. Every time your HVAC unit is running, it’s almost like you can hear the money leave your wallet.
We’re here to tell you that we can help. It’s a fact that over 95% of duct systems in North America are not sealed properly, and over 90% are underinsulated. By sealing your attic and ducts along with adding more insulation and ventilation in your attic, you will improve your energy efficiency and can save up to 25-50% on your power bills. In addition to immediately saving on your power bills, improving the condition of your insulation and ducts will also save on the wear and tear of your HVAC unit and increase its lifespan.
Is your home or a section of your home uncomfortably cold in the winter or too drafty? Or, Does your upstairs feel too hot in the summer? Your home is where you spend most of your time. Whether you’re working, resting, playing, or entertaining, most people want their homes to be comfortable and cozy. We know how frustrating an uncomfortable home can be, and it’s usually a pretty simple fix. Comfort problems are usually a result of low insulation, leakage in the attic and/or ducts, bad air circulation, or all the above.
Sufficient attic insulation, attic ventilation, attic and duct sealing play important roles in controlling the temperature and total comfort level in your home throughout the year. Attic insulation and air sealing is critical for keeping cool air in your home during the hot months and warm air in your home throughout the heating season.
Bad indoor air quality is a global issue. Both short- and long-term exposure to indoor air pollution can cause a range of health issues, including respiratory diseases, heart disease, cognitive deficits, and cancer. A lot of the bad air we breathe in our home comes directly from the attic. Your attic is a highly contaminated environment and can contain harmful chemicals, gasses, mold, dust, pest waste, and other air pollutants that are getting in your home through the gaps and cracks in your ceiling as well as your unsealed duct system.
Although not all of the bad air you breathe in your home comes from your attic, fixing the issues in your attic goes a long way to make your home’s air quality much better. Additionally , our air scrubber solution can help fix all the air quality issues in the entire home. It’s not a hard fix, but it is an issue that you’ll want to address.
A healthier life is a better life, and we want to Make Your Life Better.
It’s never fun to replace a roof or the HVAC system. In fact, those are two of the most expensive purchases you’ll ever make in your home. The worse shape your attic and ducts are in, the more likely you are to have to replace both of these things quicker.
Your HVAC system will last longer the less the system runs. In the effort to keep warm or cool air inside your home, insulation and duct sealing are your friends. If your insulation and ducts aren’t sufficient, your HVAC unit will have to work harder for longer periods of time.. Much like a car, the more your HVAC system runs, the faster your unit will die. A new HVAC system today can cost as much as $10,000 to $16,000 depending on its efficiency rating.
Low Insulation, insufficient ventilation and/or Leakage in your attic and ducts can also wreak havoc on your roof. In snowy climates, as heat escapes from the ducts and the living space, Ice dams form by snow melting and running down to your roof’s edges and refreezing into icicles. Ice dams are very common and can completely ruin shingles in as little as one winter. In the summer, While small cracks and areas where air can escape might not seem detrimental, the impact of infiltrating moisture into your attic through those areas can be incredibly damaging to your roof and can be a breeding ground for mold, mildew and other funguses.
